Originally part of an English-language Ramones tribute band, Raffy Fucking Raymond (Raphaël Colet, bass & backing vocals) and Reggie Fucking Raymond (Réjean Gariépy, vocals) decided in the summer of 2017 to adapt their lyrics into Québécois. Their other two bandmates didn’t care for the idea, so they started producing a 15-song album by themselves in the fall. When they came back from Christmas break, Raphaël suggested to Réjean that they should post the album on Bandcamp under the name “Les Fucking Raymonds.” In January 2018, a certain buzz surrounded the album release, and people started talking about the project. In February, Franky Fucking Raymond (Francis Labelle, drums) and Jimmy Fucking Raymond (Derek Bevins, guitar) joined the band.
